INTRODUCTION
Collaboration is central to the progress of The Chirandu Group. Our approach is structured,
transparent, and outcome-focused. We invite partners who share our commitment to scientific
integrity, cultural respect, and long-term value creation.
Each collaboration pathway follows a formal process of proposal, review, and agreement. This
ensures that every partnership aligns with the principles of governance, data integrity, and
shared benefit. We welcome proposals that contribute to the advancement of Indigenous
Biotechnology, ethical research, and sustainable development.
RESEARCH COLLABORATION
Researchers, universities, and scientific institutions are invited to propose collaboration in areas aligned with Chirandu’s core disciplines, including biotechnology, sensory science, and ethnobotanical studies.
Proposals should outline objectives, research scope, methodologies, and expected outcomes.
Each submission is reviewed by the relevant division within the Group to ensure compliance with ethical and scientific standards.
Collaborations that demonstrate academic rigour, replicable methodologies, and respect for Indigenous Knowledge systems are prioritised for partnership.
Enterprise collaboration
Businesses and industry partners are invited to propose collaboration that enables the responsible commercialisation of biotechnology, ingredients, and product formulations derived from Chirandu research.
Proposals should specify the area of interest, scale of engagement, and form of partnership being sought, whether through contract research, licensing, or product development.
Each proposal undergoes review to verify alignment with the Group’s ethical sourcing, data integrity, and sustainability standards. Only partnerships that meet these criteria proceed to contractual discussion.
PUBLIC SECTOR COLLABORATION
Government bodies, intergovernmental organisations, and development agencies are encouraged to propose collaboration that strengthens policy, research infrastructure, and equitable knowledge exchange.
Chirandu engages with public institutions to develop frameworks for compliance, benefit sharing, and capacity building across the biotechnology and Indigenous Knowledge sectors.
Proposals undergo review by the Governance and Policy team to ensure mutual accountability and alignment with national and international standards.
CUSTODIAN PARTNERSHIPS
Knowledge custodians, communities, and cultural practitioners play a vital role in the preservation and validation of Indigenous science. Chirandu’s custodian partnerships ensure that research is conducted with consent, recognition, and benefit sharing.
Custodians may propose engagement that documents traditional knowledge, validates historical practice, or contributes to cultural and linguistic preservation within the Group’s research frameworks.
All proposals are reviewed through a process that guarantees traceability, protection of intellectual property, and clear participation agreements.
INVESTOR PARTNERSHIPS
Investors seeking to participate in the growth of Indigenous Biotechnology may submit expressions of interest through Chirandu Capital.
Submissions must include the proposed investment horizon, thematic interest, and expectations for social, environmental, and financial performance. Each proposal is evaluated by Chirandu Capital for alignment with the Group’s strategic and ethical framework.
Approved investors enter a due diligence process that ensures governance transparency and measurable impact.
